Technopol présente <span class="style5"><strong>« DON'T KILL THE VINYL »</strong></span> , un mois d'exposition et d'évènements consacrés au disque vinyle et à la culture qu’a généré la pratique de la fixation de la musique sur le support vinyle. Espèce en voie de disparition, le vinyle serait, dit-on, en phase « terminale » de son existence au profit de la musique en fichier numérique.
Alors que certains croient cette rondelle de plastique morte, Technopol ressuscite le vinyle par amour du son et des artisans qui le travaillent. Le vinyle est exposé en dizaines de pochettes choisies par les disquaires et labels électro Parisiens, mixé par les DJs invités, disséqué lors d'une conférence, numérisé chaque samedi et même broadcasté. <a href="http://www.technopol.net/assotechnopol/actualites/dontkill.html" target="_blank">+ infos</a> <br />

Mutation des canaux traditionnels de diffusion, nouveaux moyens de distribution de la musique et changement des comportements de consommation. Après s’être longtemps penchée sur la recherche de moyens innovant pour s'adapter aux changements sociaux économiques, perçus comme inévitables, l’industrie du disque à accepter le fait que son marché soit en pleine mutation.
Ces nouvelles pratiques soulèvent de nombreuses questions dans le monde des musiques électroniques : le vinyle est-il condamné à la disparition? qu'en est-il des supports numériques et des nouveaux médias.Pour ce faire nous invitons différents acteurs à exprimer leur point de vue afin de faire avancer le débat autour des modes de diffusion de la musique, de la création artistique et des réalités économiques. <br />
